All systems
Compact locking system
- Improved the error handling and reporting system.
Security - Backup and restore
- Corrected a minor issue when restoring a normal backup to a different system location (e.g. taking work home and vice versa).
- When taking a regular daily auto-backup, add a numeric suffix to the backup filename if it already exists.
WinAccs
Aged balances
- Addressed an issue where the file balance showed the amount including future/pending balances regardless of the filter setting.
Applications and certificates
- Corrected an issue where passing the RFP number to V-Rex failed if the user entered an RFP number containing a space.
Cash posting
- Addressed an issue introduced in SP12 where clicking on a transaction did not transfer the values to the "amount" boxes so you could part match or apply a discount. Also, the control focus was transferred away from the transaction list stopping the user selecting multiple transaction with the keyboard.
Contract (job) ledger maintenance
- You can now store site name, address and contact details on the contract (job).
- You can import this new address from the related sales account, if entered.
WinPay
Employee maintenance
- When entering multiple attachment orders they were sometimes not ordered correctly. Added a more sophisticated algorithm for sorting orders after entry.
WinStock
Purchase orders
- Expanded the purchase order header file with space to contain a header contract (job) code.
- During company data upgrade, this new code is set to the first valid contract (job) code on an order detail line.
- When entering an order, you can link the order to a contract (job). If you do, this contract (job) is set by default on all new detail lines, but can be changed.
- You can import the address from the contract (job) account (see Contract (job) ledger maintenance above). I.e. you are entering a purchase order for delivery to a site.
- If registered for stock, but not requiring any stock items, the default line type is now "Non-stock item"
Sales orders
